For the Safety and Comfort for you and your neighbors to have a pleasant vacation we urge you to read these Guidelines and take the following simple precautions:

• EMERGENCY
In case of any life-threatening EMERGENCY, Call 911.

• SECURITY
1. Security phone: (808) 652-2908 – available Mon-Fri from 7:30am-10pm; Sat, Sun and Holidays from 5pm-10pm only.

2. LOCK DOORS AND WINDOWS whenever you leave your unit or retire for the night. Be sure to securely close and lock the sliding glass doors and bedroom windows.

• SMOKING
1. This unit at Kuhio Shores is individually owned, and the owners have requested that there be No Smoking in the unit. This includes all rooms and lanai areas. There will be a minimum of $250 refurbishing charge if there is any sign of smoking in the unit.
2. Smoking tobacco or other substances is prohibited at Kuhio Shores property. Smoking is permitted in a single designated smoking area located on the west end of the central median in the parking lot.

• REGISTRATION
Please register in the lobby upon check-in. The registration folder is located on the right-side desk as you enter the lobby area. License plate and Parking Pass number required for check-in.

• Digital Door Code
A door code will be sent to you prior to arrival. To access door, open white slatted door and touch keypad to wake it up. Enter 6 digit code, then press the button circle looks like a fingerprint towards the bottom of the keypad. If you prefer an actual key, please let me know and that can be arranged.

• PARKING PASS
Please have your parking pass visible in your vehicle at all times when in the Kuhio Shores parking lot. It should be placed on the rear view mirror. There is only one vehicle allowed per unit. Please be considerate of others while parking. Park between the white lines so the stall on either side can be used. Thank you!

• CABLE AND INTERNET ACCESS
1. To turn TV / Cable ON / OFF – press TV Power and CBL Power – press CBL / Guide to search.

• AIR CONDITIONER
Please turn AC off whenever you leave the condo. It takes a few minutes to start up as the compressor is on the rooftop.

• AMENITIES
A starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, and other items are provided for your convenience. Please replace as needed depending on length of stay.

• PEST CONTROL
Please keep the lanai screen / sliding door and front entry door closed at all times to prevent unwanted bugs and critters.

• RECYCLING and TRASH
There is a recycling bin in the unit for your use. Recycling and trash bins are located in the far West corner of the parking lot. Please empty trash upon checkout.

• QUIET HOURS
For the comfort and enjoyment of all of our guests and owners, please observe our “quiet hours” between 10:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m.

• BARBECUE
BBQ facilities are provided in the northwest corner of the parking lot. Association rules require that no cooking be done on the lanais or on the property grounds. BBQ utensils are available in the pantry. Please return to pantry when done cooking.

• LAUNDRY
There are laundry rooms located on each floor. Hours of operation are from 7:30am to 9:00pm. Coin operated laundry – quarters only. Wash $2.00; Dry $2.00. Change machine located on the 3rd and 4th floors. There is also a vending machine with laundry soap and dryer sheets for purchase.

• CHECK OUT PROCEDURES
Please confirm that doors are locked and air-conditioner turned off before leaving. Please strip the bed of linens, take out trash and start the dishwasher.

• BEACH SAFETY
